The Global Atopic Dermatitis Atlas (GADA)
The aim of GADA is to create and maintain an atlas where all data about atopic dermatitis is available in one place, across all countries: how many people have AD, at what age, its severity, and how AD affects patients in different settings. In response to the Grand Challenges in Global Skin Health, the GADA project is collaborating with other Atlas initiatives to conduct fieldwork aimed at addressing current gaps in the burden of skin diseases.

About
The Global Atopic Dermatitis Atlas is a long-term, collaborative initiative involving dermatologists, epidemiologists, and patient representatives from around the world. Driven by a shared passion for improving our understanding of the population-based burden of atopic dermatitis (AD), we have established six dedicated workstreams to fill data gaps across diverse populations.
Find out who is involved, news, patient stories and explore data produced by the GADA team.

GADA report 2024
The GADA inaugural report, published in 2022, provided a comprehensive summary of all known aspects of atopic dermatitis and outlined our mission to address disparities in its disease burden and care. In 2024, we released an update report highlighting our progress to date, including the establishment of a collaborative network and the expansion of our workstreams.
